The Story of the Clever Crow and the Pot of Water

Moral: Intelligence overcomes adversity

Once upon a time, on a hot summer day, a thirsty crow was flying across the fields when he saw a pot with a little water inside. The pot was very deep, and the water was too low for the crow to reach.

The crow, who was very clever, didn’t give up. He looked around and found some stones. He began to drop them into the pot, one by one, and as the stones filled the bottom, the water rose higher and higher. Eventually, the water reached the top, and the crow drank the water happily.

Grandmother would tell her grandchildren: “This is the story of the clever crow. When you are faced with challenges, think and act wisely, and never give up. The crow solved the problem with patience and intelligence, and that’s a lesson for all of us!”
